Groundnut oil recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein also regained on retail buying support.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial also reclaimed slightly owing to mild demand from shippers and soap industries.
While, linseed oil held stable in the absence of any major buying.
In edible section, groundnut oil gained by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 970 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 965 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 472 as against Rs 469 previously.
Among non-edibles, castorseeds bold moved up by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 3,485 from previous close of Rs 3,475 and castor oil commercial inched up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 727 from 725.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 860 per 10 kg.
