Groundnut oil and refined palmolein weakened further in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following lower demand from stockists and retailers.
While, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil held stable in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil dropped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 930 from Friday's close Rs 940 and refined palmolein softened by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 625 as against Rs 627, yesterday.
Moving to the non-edible section, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 4,175 per 100kg, Rs 865 per 10kg and Rs 800 per 10 kg, respectively.
