Egypt's Mubarak ordered under house arrest if freed: state TV

Egypt's military today ordered that Hosni Mubarak be placed under house arrest, as the ex-president appeared set for conditional release in mid-trial on murder and corruption charges, state media reported.
"In the framework of the emergency law, the deputy military ruler ordered Mubarak to be placed under house arrest," read a news flash on state television.
