Eight idols stolen from math

Thieves broke into the premises of Ramdas Math in Jawahi village late last night and fled with the precious idols, made of 'astadhatu', sources said.

The occupants of the Math detected the incident this morning and lodged an FIR at Sursand police station, they said.

Raids were being carried out to recover the stone idols, the sources said.
