Eminem writing new music for TV series based on movie 'Narc'

Rapper Eminem is working on new music for a TV series based on the 2002 crime thriller "Narc".

The 43-year-old, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers

III, rapper will create original material for Paramount's new series, which is set in his home city of Detroit, reported Deadline.

He is also in talks to act as executive producer and musical supervisor on the show.

The original movie starred Ray Liotta and Jason Patric as police officers investigating the murder of an undercover cop.
