Esri India launches Yoga-day App

Ahead of the International Yoga Day on June 21, Esri India, a leading Geographic Information System (GIS) Software & Solutions provider, has launched an app to help yoga enthusiasts locate a Yoga Centre.

The app - Yogamplify is available through web and mobile phones and using it, the organizers can list their International Yoga Day events and provide details like location, timing and capacity.

This information will be placed on an interactive map.

Yoga enthusiasts can view the yoga events organized near their locations on the map and find the best way to reach there, Ersi India President, Agendra Kumar said in a release here.
 

This app makes use of Esri's Cloud known as ArcGIS Online, Kumar said.

"Esri India supports government's vision for promoting Yoga around the globe. Yoga day is a global event that promotes yoga for healthy living." he said.
