Farmer attacked by tiger

A 55-year-old farmer was

seriously injured after being attacked by a tiger while he was working in his field in village Sukhdaspur Davdia near Pilibhit Tiger range.

The tiger fled into the forest after attacking Hariram yesterday, police said.

Villagers took him to the hospital where his condition was stated to be critical, they said.
