Farmer electrocuted in Punjab

A farmer was today electrocuted while trying to start tubewell at his field in Nanga village here, police said.

The deceased was identified as Palwinder Singh.

Singh's wife Manjit Kaur said he had gone to his field to irrigate crops and accidentally got electrocuted, police said.
