A 45-year-old man and his son were shot dead while his another son was critically injured in an attack by identified persons in Bijnor area of Sarojininagar here.
Kishan Chandra Yadav and his sons Dilip alias Babloo (24) and Sandeep (20) were shot at by unidentified persons last night, police said today.
While Kishan Chand died on the spot, Babloo succumbed to injuries while being taken to King George's Medical University (KGMU), they said.
Sandeep was admitted to the trauma centre of the hospital where his condition was stated to be serious, police said.
Though the exact motive behind the attack was not clear, prima facie it seemed to be an outcome of "tussle over supremacy in the area," they said.
