Fire breaks out in South Ex market

Fire broke out in the office of Vijay Mallya-owned United Spirits in posh South Extension-1 market on the Ring Road this morning, a fire department official said.

No casualties have been reported.

"We received a call around 8.57 AM about a fire in South Extension-1 market and four fire tenders have been pressed into service," the official said.

Traffic has been thrown out of gear on the Ring road due to the incident.
