Mirroring the change-over in the content of Tolly rom-coms, having got audience backing in past two years from 'Bojhe Na Shey Bojhe Na' to 'Chirodini Tumi Je Amar II', a first time telly sop now aims to recapture the Gen Y in Bangla marking the shift from the bored housewives and maids.

'Theek Jeno Love Story', a new age tale of young and fatal love, draws on the real life incidents involving city-based youngsters and take a break from the confines of make-belif sets to the lush green of North Bengal.

To be telecast on the newest entertainment channel in sky, Star Jalsha, shot extensively in North Bengal, the story revolves around Isha, Adi. Prabal and Pratik and in a blend of fiction and real, will feature some anchor icons in the show biz segment, a spoksemn from the producers SVF said.

In tune with the feel of a present day romantic Bengali flick, aiming the aspirational Gen Y in suburbs and middle/lower middle class pockets of city, the college going crowd in not-so-elite institutions, 'Theek Jeno Love Story' has music tracks by Aridnam of 'Bojhena Shey Bojhena', 'Borbaad' and 'Bindaas' fame.

The song is peppy and hummable and will become a sensation with the youngsters, SVF spearhead Srikant Mohta said.

"The show is set in a modern context and showcases the lives of thrill seeking internet savvy youth who live life on the go. The show has a young look and feel and tonality to it," Mohta said.

A far cry from the traditional fare of Maa which had grabbed one of the highest TRPs on the telly.
