Five injured in clash in UP

Five persons were injured when a clash erupted between two groups after a heated argument among children escalated and their families got involved in Nagla Khareti village here, police said today.

The incident occurred yesterday when a heated argument among children resulted in a violent clash between families of Nathu Ram and Babu Ram, they said.

The five injured persons include Raghuveer, Vandana, Diwari Lal, Pradeep Kumar and Mamta, police said, adding that they have been admitted to a hospital.

There have been no arrests so far. However, investigation is underway, they further said.
