Five injured in truck-car collision

Five persons, including a Delhi resident, were injured when a car collided with a truck near village Madhupura in kotwali Malawan yesterday, police said.

A truck hit the car and the five injured persons were admitted to a hospital, they said.

The accident left the car badly mangled while the truck driver escaped from the spot.

Four of the injured were referred to Delhi for treatment. One of the injured was identified as Akshay Sharma from Delhi, a police official said.

The matter was being probed, he added.
