Five persons booked for irregularities in MNREGA

The FIR has been lodged against the PO (MNREGA), Pankaj Kumar, assistant engineer Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary, junior engineer Sudhir Kumar, accountant Anand Kumar and panchayat sevak Nadeem Hussain for committing irregularities of Rs five lakh in making payment to the beneficiaries under the central scheme, Superintendent of Police Ranjeet Kumar Mishra said.

A MNREGA job card holder Upendra Ram lodged the FIR.
