Five security guards of Assam minister injured in accident

The incident took place on the National Highway 37 near Dergaon when the minister's convoy was on its way from Jorhat to Guwahati.

The driver of the pilot car of the convoy lost control over the vehicle which hit the dumper truck parked nearby.

Five police personnel travelling in the car were injured, three of whom are stated to be in serious condition. All the injured have been admitted to the Jorhat Medical College.
