Five students arrested with stolen car and arms

Five students were arrested with a stolen car and arms in New Mandi police station area here, police said today.

The car with the five students, who were involved in a firing case previously, was intercepted by police, RO Sub-Inspector Rakesh Sharma said.

The college-going students were identified as Gurucharan, Shivam Rathi, Nitin, Akash and Sanjiv, he added.

Besides the car, police seized a pistol, knife and cartridges from them, Sharma said.
