Light to moderatre rainfall occured at mostplaces over Chhattisgarh, at many places over Vidarbha, at a few placesover East-and at isolated places over West MadhyaPradesh.

No large change in maximun and minimum temperatures overMadhya Pradesh,and

Maximum temperature fell appreciably over East Madhya Pradesh. No large change over West-Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and

Maximum temperatures were appreciably below normal over EastMadhya Pradesh,below normal over Chhatisgarh and Vidarbha andnormal over West- MadhyaPradesh, while minimum temperatures wereabove normal over East-and normal over Vidarbh, Chhattisgarh and West-Madhya Pradesh.

Jagdalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 30.6 degrees Celsius andChindwara recorded lowest minimum temperature of 11.2 degrees Celsius.

Chief amount of rainfall:Madhya Pradesh: Sausar-5, Malajkhand-4,Narsinghpur-3, Chindwara, multai, Jaithari, Seoni-2 each, Mandla,Jabalpur, Betul - 1each.

Chhattisgarh: Pandaria -- 6; Kusumi , Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Berla,Bemetara -- 2 each; Mungeli, Marwahi, Pendra Road, Gandai,Rajnandgaon,Kawardha, Saja, Durg, Arang, Mana AP, Raipur -- 1 each.

Vidarbha: Chikhalda (dist Amravati) 2, Washim (dist Washim) 2, Gadchiroli (dist Gadchiroli), Tumsar (dist Bhandara), Gondia AP(dist Gondia), Batkuli (dist Amravati) , Mohadi (dist Bhandara) -1 each.

Forecast:No significant change in maximum temperatures over Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during the next 3 days.
