Following is the list of star witnesses who appeared in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case during the trial, which ran for nearly seven years:

* Aseervatham Achary: was Additional Private Secretary to A Raja when he was the Minister of Communication and Information Technology (MOC&IT).

* Nripendra Mishra: was Chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) from March 22, 2006 to March 22, 2009. Currently, he is the Principle Secretary to the Prime Minister.

* D Subba Rao: the 22nd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, was the Union Finance Secretary during the relevant time.

* G E Vahanwati: Former Attorney General of India, who was Solicitor General when the spectrum were allocated.
 

* D S Mathur was Secretary, Telecom, from July 2006 to December 31, 2007.

* T K Vishwanathan, the then Union Law Secretary.

* R Gopalan, the then Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs.

* J B S Rawat, Joint Director, Lok Sabha Secretariat.

* Avdhesh Kumar Srivastava, DDG (AS), DoT, New Delhi.

* Anil D Ambani, Chairman, Reliance ADA group.

* Ambani's wife and erstwhile Bollywood actress Tina Ambani.

* Niira Radia, corporate lobbyist.
