Former Congress MLA passes away
Former Congress MLA Malkhan Singh Saini passed away after a brief illness in Shamli district.
84-year-old Singh passed away yesterday at Hasanpur Luhari village, family members said. He was cremated today in his native village.
He was elected MLA from Thana Bhawan assembly constituency as a Congress candidate in 1974, and is survived by two sons and three daughters.
