Former Congress MLA Suresh Choudhary died here today of cardiac arrest, family members said.
Choudhary (63) suffered heart attack earlier today following which he was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The leader represented Sabalgarh assembly seat thrice and had won the seat for the first time in 1980 and later in 1993 and 2008.
Choudhary was also nominated as the Vice Chairman of the MP Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC), they said.
His last rites will be performed tomorrow, they added.
