A former municipal councillor was shot at by some unidentified men in Shastri Nagar area here today.
Hari Mohan Kaushik (45), a property dealer, was shot at six times near his residence in Kavinagar area of the district, police said.
Kaushik was rushed to a local hospital in the city from where he was referred to a Noida hospital, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ranvijay Singh, said.
Police is probing the case and no arrest has been made so far, he said.
Kaushik, an accused in the murder case of his nephew, was out on bail and police is also probing the angle of the family feud.
