Four arrested in Hamirpur triple murder case

Four persons have been arrested in connection with triple murder at a village in Hamirpur district over old enmity, police said here today.

Jitendra Singh, Karan Singh, Haricharan and Mahendra Singh have been arrested in connection with the tripe murder in Hamirupr district yesterday, they said.

The alleged triple murder took place at Akauna village in Rath area of Hamipur where Babulal (35), Dhaniram (55) and Munna (45) were shot dead by the accused with their licenced fire arms, police said.

Another person, Parmeshwari Dayal, was injured in the incident, they said.

The police has also recovered a licenced rifle and cartridges from the accused.
