Four charred to death in UP

Four persons, including three children, were charred to death in a fire incident in Kotwali area here, a senior officer said here today.

Munni Lal (55), Itwari (10), Sonu (8) and Monu (3) were killed when their clothes caught fire allegedly from a mosquito coil in Jogapur village late last night, Circle Officer M P Salonia said.

The incident occurred when the victims were sleeping on the floor, he said, adding that their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
