Four devotees hurt as branch of tree falls

Four devotees were today injured after a branch of a 'Nilgiri' tree fell inside the famous Shirdi shrine here, officials of the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) said.

The incident took place this afternoon when a branch of a 'Nilgiri' tree fell near the Public Relations office inside the Shirdi shrine, SSST's chief security officer Madhukar Gangawane said.

The four devotees who were sitting under the tree sustained injuries, he added.
