The Punjab government tonight transferred four IPS and 48 PPS officers in the state.
IPS officer Pardeep Kumar has been posted as AIG, Telecommunication Punjab Chandigarh while Iqbal Singh posted as AIG/Special Cell Punjab Chandigarh, a spokesperson of the Punjab Police said.
IPS officer Harbaj Singh has been posted as AIG/Traffic Punjab Chandigarh and Jaspreet Singh Sidhu given the charge of commandant second CDO battalion Bathinda.
Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers Lakhwinderpal Singh, Jaswant Kaur, Harjeet Singh, Gurnam Singh Sawinder Singh among others have also been shifted.
