Four persons, including a B.SC student, were killed in as many road accidents in the city here, police said today.
25-year-old Kalbe Haider, resident of Karnal Gang area, was crushed to death by a truck here yesterday, they said.
The truck driver fled the scene after the mishap but the police has impounded the vehicle.
In another incident, a 21-year-old B.SC student Sunny was killed by a vehicle in Brar area, police said.
Another incident took place in the Sanchedi area where Sudhar Singh (60), on a bicycle, was crushed to death when he was hit by a truck.
The fourth incident took place in Maharajapur area where Gokaran (22) and his wife Sandhya (30) were hit by a truck when they were on a bicycle. Both were immediately rushed to a hospital, where Gokaran died, while the woman is seriously injured, police said.
