Four militants arrested in Manipur

Sources said all the four arrested persons were involved in extortion from the public.

While P Leibakchao of Kangleipak Communist Party-Lallumba faction was arrested from Pukhao area in Imphal East district yesterday, three others H Ibomcha, Anjana Devi and S Ibethoi of Kangleipak Communist Party-Taibanganba group were arrested from Nambol in Bishenpur district, sources said.

They said one pistol, one mobil phone and some rounds of ammunition were recovered from four of them, adding that the four were involved in serving extortion notice or extortion from officials and general public.
