Four persons arrested for killing sarpanch

Four persons have been arrested for allegedly killing the sarpanch of Garh Mirakpur village in Sonipat district, police said here today.

The accused identified as Dinesh, Ranbir, Randhir and Sudama, have been arrested for being involved in killing Hariparkash, a two-time sarpanch of the village, an official spokesperson said.

On May 25, Saroj, wife of the deceased, had registered a complaint that some people had shot dead her husband on the night before while he was returning home because of political rivalry.
