Freedom fighter dead

Freedom fighter Asharam Khati died at the age of 99 and was cremated with state honours here today.

Khati, who was actively associated with the country's freedom movement, passed away last evening due to age-related ailments.

His body was consigned to flames with state honours in Ramsara village.

Rajasthan minister Virendra Beniwal and senior district and police officials paid floral tributes to the departed soul.
