Senior Congress leader Pratapsinh Rane, who was admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital on Saturday evening after he complained of fever, was discharged today, medical authorities said.
"Rane was discharged today after he was kept under observation. His health is fine now," a senior GMCH official said.
Rane, who served as Goa CM six times, is a five-time Congress legislator from Poriem constituency in North Goa.
His son Vishwajit Rane, who quit the Congress last year and joined the BJP, is currently the health minister of Goa.
