Gold bars recovered from passenger

Gold bars weighing 2.1 kg were seized from a woman passenger after she arrived at the NSC Bose international airport here from Bangkok today.

The gold bars were seized by customs from one Reshma Chowdhury when she landed here by a private airline this morning, custom officials said.

The woman has been held by the police.
