Two gold biscuits weighing one kg
each and valued at Rs.56.63 lakh were today recovered from a toilet inside the International Airport here.
Customs officials found the gold with foreign markings wrapped with black adhesive tapes and kept inside two polythene covers and hidden inside the flush tank of the gents toilet near the Immigration counter, a customs release said.
Cleaning staff of the airport are being questioned and further investigations on.
