Gold biscuits worth Rs 55 lakh seized

About 2.3 kg of gold biscuits worth Rs 55 lakh were seized from four women who arrived here from Malaysia, airport officials said.

The women had come here by an Air Asia flight early this morning.

Air intelligence officials grew suspicious of their movements and frisked them, leading to the seizure, they said.

All the four have been detained for further questioning, the officials said.
