Gold worth about Rs 1.75 crore was recovered by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) from a flight that arrived here from Singapore this morning.
DRI officials recovered 4.8 kg gold, upon information, from under a seat of Singapore-Chennai-Tiruchirappally Air India Express flight, airport officials said.
No one has been detained in this connection but a probe is on, they added.
