'Golden Essence' wins main Hyderabad winter race

Three-year-old, 'Golden Essence', ably ridden by D K Ashish, claimed The Mir Fazilath Hussain Memorial Cup, the chief event of Hyderabad Winter Races held here today.

The winner was trained by L D'Silva.

Trainer Laxman S and jockey Deep Shanker scored a double each.

Six first favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
