Govt employee shot dead in Jaipur

A 30-year-old state government employee was shot dead by some persons after a verbal spat in the Nangal Jesa Bohra area of the city, police said today.

The incident took place last night.

Mukesh Gujjar was attacked near his house by the accused after they caught him, Kardhani police station SHO Rajendra Diwakar said.

Gujjar, who worked with the Civil Defence Department, had a dispute with the accused over some issue for a long time, he said.

Efforts are on to nab the absconding accused, he added.
