Govt proposes to provide personal assistant to ex-governors
The Governors (Emoluments, Allowances and Privileges) Amendment Bill, 2012 proposes to provide secretarial assistance to former governors in the form of one personal assistant.
The ex-governor concerned may appoint them on reimbursement basis. A total of Rs 1.95 crore has been estimated for the purpose.
