: Dr Theodore Roosevelt Malloch, great grandson of former U.S. President and Nobel Laureate Dr Thedore Roosevelt, will be the chief guest at the 12th Convocation of Karunya University on July 11 at the University campus on the outskirts of the city.
Dr.Theodore Roosevelt Malloch from the University of Oxford, UK, will deliver the convocation address.
He will also be honored with a Honorary Degree of D.Sc on the occasion, a varsity release said today.
University Chancellor Paul Dhinakaran will preside over the convocation and distribute certificates to 2,122 students.
Best outgoing students award in UG, PG and toppers will be honored with cash awards, it said.
The graduates, along with SEESHA, an NGO, have volunteered to donate Motorized Tri-cycles, Tri-cycles, Wheel Chairs, cerebral palsy chairs, to the differently abled people, the release said.
