Groundnut oil recovered smartly in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
While, refined palmolein edged down marginally due to lack of retail buying support.
Castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil prices ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In the edible section, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 785 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 780.
However, refined palmolein eased by Re 1 per 10 kg to Rs 484 as against Rs 485 yesterday.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil all closed unchanged at Rs 4,100 per 100 kg, Rs 850 and Rs 750 per 10 kg, respectively.
