Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is in talks with 20th Century Fox and James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment to develop and direct "Fantastic Voyage" remake.
The remake of the 1966 sci-fi movie will reunite del Toro with Cameron, and also David Goyer, the screenwriter of his action horror movie, "Blade 2", said The Hollywood Reporter.
"Voyage" revolves around a team of scientists, who are shrunk to atomic size to save the life of a scientist, who is dying of blood clot. The miniaturized scientists are sent in a miniature submarine inside the body of the dying.
Directors Roland Emmerich, Paul Greengrass and Shawn Levy were also considered for the remake, that has been in development for many years.
