Gujarat government transfers 45 IAS officers

The Gujarat government today transferred 45 IAS officers, including two principal secretaries and several district collectors.

1990-batch IAS officer M K Das, serving as principal secretary with the state food, civil supplies and consumer affairs department, has been transferred to the industries and mines department in the same capacity, said a release by the General Administration Department (GAD).

Das has been replaced by 1986-batch officer Sangeeta Singh, serving in revenue department as principal secretary (appeals) at present, said the release.

Along with them, state government also transferred 43 junior IAS officers, including collectors of 12 districts and district development officers (DDOs) of 11 districts.
