Gur (Jaggery) prices drifted by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today owing to slackened demand from stockists and retailers against higher supplies.
At Muradnaga gur market, prices dropped by Rs 100 per quintal on muted demand.
Meanwhile, steady conditions prevailed at the Muzaffarnagar gur market as prices remained flat in the absence of any worthwhile activity.

In Delhi, gur Pedi and Dhayya prices slided by Rs 100 each to settle at Rs 2,800-2,900 and Rs 2,900-3,000 per quintal.
At Muradnagar, prices of gur Pedi and Dhayya declined from Rs 2,500-2,550 and Rs 2,550-2,600 to close at Rs 2,400-2,500 and Rs 2,500-2,550 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,800-2,900, pedi Rs 2,800-2,900, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,400-2,450, chakku Rs 2,450-2,550, khurpa Rs 2,400-2,450 and Ladoo Rs 2,500-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,400-2,500 and dhayya Rs 2,500-2,550.
