Quiet conditions emerged at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices by and large after moving narrow both side movements, on arrival of new stocks, finished at previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also finished at their last levels on small buying support.
Marketmen said comfortable positions stock on arrivals of new gur in the market amid scattered buying support mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,800-3,900, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,600-2,650, chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, khurpa Rs 3,250-3,375 and Ladoo Rs 3,650- 3,700.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,300-3,400 and dhayya Rs 3,400- 3,450.
