There was no change in the pattern of trading at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market as prices continued move in a tight range in the absence of worthwhile activity and settled steady.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended on a steady note on some support.
Marketmen said adequate ready stocks in the market against absence of necessary demand mainly kept prices unchanged.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,400-2,500, chakku Rs 2,400-2,650, khurpa Rs 2,250-2,350 and Ladoo Rs 2,250-2,450.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,300-2,350 and dhayya Rs 2,450-2,500.
