Steady conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today on ample stocks position against restricted buying activity.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depicted a similar trend in the absence of buying support.

Marketmen said sufficient stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions against restricted buying activity from stockists mainly kept gur prices at previous levels.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):

Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,400-3,500 and shakkar Rs 3,500-3,600.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,550-2,600, chakku Rs 2,750-3,020, khurpa Rs 2,650-2,700 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-2,950.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,750-2,800 and dhayya Rs 2,800-2,850.
