Gurgaon: Realtor to be booked for illegally selling plots

The DCP (West), Gurgaon, has been asked to register the FIR against Earth Infrastructures Ltd for advertising the booking of plots through internet for its projects, Earthcopia 1 and 2, without obtaining prior permission from the Director General of Town and Country Planning, Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner P C Meena said.

Meena said that a realtor or developer is required to obtain permission from Town and Country Planning department before starting sale of plots.

By advertising the sale of plots, Meena said, the private realtor has violated Section 7 (1) of the Haryana Development and Regulations of Urban Areas Act, 1975.

 

District Town Planner (Enforcement) Anil Dabas said that the e-mails received by his office show that the realtor has already started booking of plots for its projects.

Gurgaon Police has been asked to investigate the matter and register FIR against the defaulting realtor, he said.
