The famous Lord Krishna temple in Guruvayur would soon get air connectivity with state-owned helicopter operator Pawan Hans set to launch its services between the town in the district and Kochi airport at Nedumbassery, Congress leader P C Chacko said today.
Two locations under the possession of the Gurruvayur Devaswom, which administers the temple, had been identified for setting up the helipad and one of it would be finalised shortly, Chacko, who represents Thrissur in Lok Sabha, told reporters here.
The launch of helicopter service was as part of the development of Guruvayur as a full-fledged Pilgrim centre, he said.
