Hand Grenade recovered in Thoubal

One hand grenade was recovered by BSF prsonnel during patrolling near Heirok in Thoubal district today, police said.

Police said a bomb disposal squad later arrived at the spot and retrieved the grenade and safely detonated at an isolated paddy field.

No group has claimed responsibility.
