Hanumath Jayanthi celebrated

Thousands of devotees today thronged the famous Lord Anjeneya temple in Porayar in the district in connection with theHanumathJayanthifestival.

HanumathJayanthiis celebrated in this temple on the 'Moolam' star during the Tamil month Margazhi.

It is the belief among the devotees that worshipping LordHanumanhere on HanumathJayanthiday would relieve them of all Navagraha doshaas.

Special abishekam and poojas were conducted as part of the festival.
