Heat wave continues in Raj, Churu hottest at 46.5 deg C

Heat wave conditions remained unabated in Rajasthan with Churu recording the highest temperature in the state at 46.5 degrees Celsius today.
Churu was closely followed by Sriganganagar with a maximum temperature of 46.2 degrees Celsius, the MeT Department said here.
Kota, Jaipur, Pilani, Bikaner and Ajmer recorded maximum temperatures at, 45.4, 44.3, 43.6, 43.3 and 42.7 degree Celsius respectively, it said.

Meanwhile, Pilani today received light rainfall of 2.2 mm.
According to a MeT forecast, weather conditions are likely to remain the same for the next 24 hours with possibility of dust storms with light rains at isolated areas.
